It's my understanding that a message stays in my Outbox till the recipient checks their Inbox at which time it moves to my Sent folder.

There do seem to be a lot of ways to play it and hinted interaction with the first puzzzle makes it a good sideways challenge.
That said, I'm not getting very far with it.

The puzzle had nothing to do with the story as far as solving it goes. Unless the symbols have some meaning in arcana that I don't see.
It was just a simple substitution and the symbols were assigned...
